"Thanks" to #glendaph(You rotten lady, why did you destroy the Bondoc Peninsula and other places!) and those power outages, we had no choice, but to watch this because the other movies we've already seen the other movies and the other one was going to be shown at a much later time.
When we entered the cinema everyone was excited. Finally, when the movie started, everyone was focused, with occasional giggles that turn into laughter.
Kathryn, Daniel and ALL their co-stars were very effective. True, I couldn't imagine Kathryn morphing into Dawn Z when she gets older, but somehow it didn't matter.
I have seen Daniel Padilla in person and he is really a very handsome young fellow, but now, he is more buffed and more handsome than ever.
Both Kathryn and Daniel are very good actors. They are very, very convincing. While watching, we forgot that they were KathNiel. Instead, they were Athena and Kenji. We journeyed with them through their laughter, tears, victories and the like. We felt every pain, struggle and joys.
These two teeners would definitely go places. They are not just good to look at, but are very, very talented, indeed!
Richard G and Dawn Z's few moments were bittersweet. I felt like crying...well, I did cry and probably, close to a deluge of tears.
Now I want to watch it again.
The film is so beautiful and my whole family agrees with me.
Carmi Raymundo did great in writing the screenplay and Cathy Garcia-Molina executed it well. Many people were lambasting the book's author, but I couldn't agree with them(yet?) because I have not read the book. Maybe I'll try reading it one day.
Kudos to the cast and crew.
Blessings and cheers!
