A woman and her children are left homeless when her husband leaves with all their money. She gets a job as a waitress in a small town diner and discovers the kind locals are on hand to help her through the difficult times. Initial release :  13 November 2011 Written and Directed by :  Craig Clyde Initial DVD release :  6 December 2011 Music composed by :  Russ Whitelock In a nutshell:  The movie is well-acted and the message is very clear that Jesus is the reason for the season.  I just hope the ex-hubby got his just deserts.  The neighbors, including the boss and the colleague, are awesome and so are her kids. The romance could have used more buildup, but it's OK.  They have time for that because I think they, Martha and her kids, would stay in Mapleton for good.  It may be predictable and a lot of scenes seem unreal, but possible, I like it.  I also think that I would like the recipe for hom...

As a young girl I have always admired this bipolar artist who was accused of being a madman by people who did not know better.  He was a real genius only appreciated posthumously. (more below) One of my favorite songs while growing up was Starry, Starry Night by Don McClean.   One of my brothers was a baby and I was practically one myself when this started becoming a hit, but I appreciated this more when I started dreaming of being a painter at the age of seven.  I was told I was a very bad artist crushing my dreams, so I really did not have penchant for creating beautiful works of art until I was in my twenties. Never let anyone tell you that you cannot do something you know in your heart you can do.  Of course, sometimes it really is physically impossible, but more often than not, when people we love don't believe we could do something, we start believing it and... Anyways, Vincent Van Gogh, had a very colourful life and my parents and I were ...

If there is anything that changed about my thoughts about the famous author through the years, I could honestly say I respect him more.  He still does not influence my belief in God, because I cannot not believe in Him because there are many things that happened in my life that cannot be explained by science or whatever else.  Yet, I could boldly say that he is a very believable writer. Believing everything he has written as "gospel" truth  is different from saying he is a believable author. When a person is believable, what he or she is saying could be true, but you don't necessarily believe it to be so. He definitely is a raconteur extraordinaire .  I can give him that. In ORIGIN he is trying to hypnotise his readers that he is an "enlightener" and because of his writing style, he might convince a lot of people that it is so. He used William Blake's ideologies, writings, artwork etc.  By focusing on Blake, he has sort of deified  the man....

Bonifacio High Street Cinemas, Central Square, BGC Imprisoned on the other side of the universe, the mighty Thor finds himself in a deadly gladiatorial contest that pits him against the Hulk, his former ally and fellow Avenger. Thor's quest for survival leads him in a race against time to prevent the all-powerful Hela from destroying his home world and the Asgardian civilization.- WWW In Thor 2, it was implied or established that Thor, Loki and Odin were not really gods, but a highly advanced species who likened to gods.  In Thor Ragnarok they are back to being Norse gods. This movie made all of us happy.  It has two strings of after credits teasers and the script was well-written, with the best line coming from a Make-A-Wish-Kid . We had lots of laughs(including the part where they seemingly promoted to the Filipino audience the Vice Ganda-Pia Wurtzbach-Daniel Padilla Christmas movie---LOL---I'm sure most of the moviegoers at the Bonifacio High ...
