These blog entries are MOSTLY just how I felt after watching the play, musical, concert or TV show, a product I like or things I have read. If I have not at least one good thing to say, then you wouldn't see anything written about it here. Oh, btw, I would seldom(not never) write about blockbusters even if I love them starting today(26 June 2019) just because. :-)

It's not as great as Kita Kita, and the buildup and flow of the story is not seamless(like it was not shown how Bela and Coco fell in love etc.), but for a first directorial job for the big screen, Dennis Padilla does have a future. Empoy Marquez and Shy Carlos are good actors. Empoy is even very graceful and he's such a natural.
Shy Carlos who is NOT in any way related to Sarah Carlos(well, at least that's what I think---they do have a great resemblance so people often mistake Sarah for Shy....Shy or Schai is Schirin Grace Sigrist in real life), is beautiful inside and out. Regarding the many kissing scenes she had with Empoy she said, "Pogi naman si Empoy at hindi na kailangan paghandaan yun." (Empoy is charming and I don't need to prepare for it) One newspaper even misquoted her regarding what she said about her imagining kissing Piolo Pascual. When I heard and read her REAL quote, she was just saying that as actors it's the same when you kiss Piolo and Empoy.
As we noticed in Kita Kita, Empoy does know how to look charming and he also exaggerates his looks to look physically ugly.
Come on! The world is not filled with Barbie Dolls and Ken. It is not filled with Betties and Baldwins. The earth is filled with ordinary looking people, who become handsome and beautiful depending on his or her character and how he or she deals with people. A physically beautiful person could be ugly due to her core values. A plain looking person could have lots of suitors just because of her personality. Some people are mean and they say, "She's not all that. Maybe she hexed them." Tsk, tsk, tsk
The love between Bela and Coco is pure.
I didn't even want to blog about this because of the aforementioned or stated reasons, but coming to think of it, because of the acting of the main characters, plus Sylvia Sanchez, Ronnie Lazaro, Atak, Gary Lim, Wilma Doesn't, and Nonie Buencamino(and some others), one may enjoy this too.
One senior citizen of Makati while going out of the theatre even said, "Puede pasar!" then chuckled. La película tiene una calificación aprobatoria.
How do I describe this movie without giving spoilers? Hmm. Let me think. Ah, I think I know how. Directed by Gino M. Santos Written by Jeff Stelton and Keiko Aquino Loosely based on or inspired by the Wattpad sensation by youramnesiagirl of the same title, is a story of finding your self worth and about living. It's also about relationships not of the romantic kind and about responsibility. This movie is NOT all about sex. There's more to it than that . It also doesn't stereotype med reps and doctors. Things like these happen whatever profession or non-profession you are in, and even if there are people like that in real life, we must believe that there are more people who live life with integrity(listen to Carmi Martin's lines somewhere in the movie), so please don't be scared to watch this. This movie is about loving, losing, sacrificing, being selfless et cetera, et ce...
Barbie and Her "Kens" (A Dollywood Title) #TeamYuan #KenBie My bubble was burst when the last scene after the credits was shown. JEYA (Jai, Ethan, Yuan and Andoy) just woke up from a heavy night and they were wondering what happened then in big bold letters this was shown on the TV screen: Ano nga ba? SOON! Ngarks. I was already very happy that BARBIE (Forteza as Billie Bendiola) and KEN (Chan as Yuan Lee or Lee Yuan) ended up together. I even shouted it out via FB(viewed by Friends of Friends) then as I was enjoying the after credits scenes, the very last one was that messy pool scene. Everything was just a dream! Come on! I know it's fiction, but to play with our emotions like that? That is such BS. If I only knew that they'd do that, I would've finished Father Rio's send off party. :-p It's different when people wake up from a nightmare, but my goolai. Why did they have to make it a dream? If they want Barbie(a...
Official Trailer When I heard Alice Dixson utter the classic infamous line, "Nandiyan ba ang asawa ko, na asawa mo, na asawa ng buong bayan?" in the trailer of WHEN THE LOVE HAS GONE, I said to myself, "Wait, I've heard that line before!" Or something to that effect. I was not wrong. Something similar to those lines were uttered by Laurice Guillen as Delza in NAGALIT ANG BUWAN SA HABA NG GABI (click to read the story written and directed by Danny L. Zialcita...Since the blogger doesn't know the name of the actor who played Antonio Almeda aka UP Boy, I'll tell you that his name is Tommy Alvarado)---more below Alice Dixson, Gabby Concepcion, Cristine Reyes, Andi Eigenmann and Jake Cuenca Source Except for the very long title(in terms of syllables), the movie this one was based on, is very beautiful. When Janice de Belen played the role of Jenny, I felt her pain...her agony. All of the members of cast f...
