These blog entries are MOSTLY just how I felt after watching the play, musical, concert or TV show, a product I like or things I have read. If I have not at least one good thing to say, then you wouldn't see anything written about it here. Oh, btw, I would seldom(not never) write about blockbusters even if I love them starting today(26 June 2019) just because. :-)

It's not as great as Kita Kita, and the buildup and flow of the story is not seamless(like it was not shown how Bela and Coco fell in love etc.), but for a first directorial job for the big screen, Dennis Padilla does have a future. Empoy Marquez and Shy Carlos are good actors. Empoy is even very graceful and he's such a natural.
Shy Carlos who is NOT in any way related to Sarah Carlos(well, at least that's what I think---they do have a great resemblance so people often mistake Sarah for Shy....Shy or Schai is Schirin Grace Sigrist in real life), is beautiful inside and out. Regarding the many kissing scenes she had with Empoy she said, "Pogi naman si Empoy at hindi na kailangan paghandaan yun." (Empoy is charming and I don't need to prepare for it) One newspaper even misquoted her regarding what she said about her imagining kissing Piolo Pascual. When I heard and read her REAL quote, she was just saying that as actors it's the same when you kiss Piolo and Empoy.
As we noticed in Kita Kita, Empoy does know how to look charming and he also exaggerates his looks to look physically ugly.
Come on! The world is not filled with Barbie Dolls and Ken. It is not filled with Betties and Baldwins. The earth is filled with ordinary looking people, who become handsome and beautiful depending on his or her character and how he or she deals with people. A physically beautiful person could be ugly due to her core values. A plain looking person could have lots of suitors just because of her personality. Some people are mean and they say, "She's not all that. Maybe she hexed them." Tsk, tsk, tsk
The love between Bela and Coco is pure.
I didn't even want to blog about this because of the aforementioned or stated reasons, but coming to think of it, because of the acting of the main characters, plus Sylvia Sanchez, Ronnie Lazaro, Atak, Gary Lim, Wilma Doesn't, and Nonie Buencamino(and some others), one may enjoy this too.
One senior citizen of Makati while going out of the theatre even said, "Puede pasar!" then chuckled. La película tiene una calificación aprobatoria.
From Pep.ph Sigh. I have separation anxiety #sepanx with this series that I have grown to love. It had its off days, but MOST of the time, the scenes are exciting, putting me to the edge of my seat, giving me cheap thrills, or making me laugh. There are times when I get traumatized by a scene or two, that I have to play the piano first before doing my research or anything else...or for me to have happy thoughts before sleeping. That's how effective the script and execution are. Or else, why should it be so real to me when I know that it is only a work of fiction? It's not really advisable for people who have PTSD to watch this, according to my friends who tried watching this, but couldn't because it was so convincing that they had to undergo cleansing rituals so-to-speak before becoming OK. If the very supposedly harmless COCOON could do that to people with mental health issues, then I guess something like this that is so...
A Country Wedding (The Movie) Written by Nancey Silvers Directed by Anne Wheeler Starring Jesse Metcalfe as Bradley Suttons (Sarah's first love) Autumn Reeser as Sarah Standor (Brad's first love) Lauren Holly as Margaret (Catherine's manager) Laura Mennell as Catherine (A very beautiful award winning actress who is engaged to Brad) Aaron Craven as Adam (Sarah and Brad's childhood friend who married them when they were younger. JESSE METCALFE and AUTUMN REESER surely made the love between Brad and Sarah seem real. They have good chemistry. The third person in the the triangle, Brad's fianc...
source Elzar "Dodjie" Simon is not really a stranger to me. He was my brother's boss in ATI, and he was one of the many invited guests who was able to celebrate with us during my brother and sister-in-law's wedding in 1998. My brother only has praises for him. I was excited to meet him again last 14 July 2016, but it coincided with CURTAINS UP , so I just joined my family in Spirit. A.I. HACKED The book has been receiving rave reviews ever since it was launched so when I saw on the author's FB page that he was having a book signing event at Fully Booked's The Studio at 11th Street, BGC, I was psyched. A few days after I learned about it my brother announced that we were going, and he has already ordered one paperback and one hardbound. I thought one was mine, but it turned out it was for my dad, but it's OK. My parents live with me, and my dad read books one-by-one, and now he is still reading my former Pastor(Richard Mirpuri)'s Glimp...
