I am NOT a critic. I'm merely an observer. (Books, movies, plays, musicals etc.)

Lifelong buddies Willie (Morgan Freeman), Joe (Michael Caine) and Albert (Alan Arkin) decide to buck retirement and step off the straight-and-narrow when their pension funds become a corporate casualty. Desperate to pay the bills and come through for their loved ones, the three men risk it all by embarking on a daring adventure to knock off the very bank that absconded with their money.-WWW Release date: April 7, 2017 (USA) Director: Zach Braff Based on: Going in Style; Written and Directed for the Silver Screen by Martin Brest (1979) Based on the original story of Edward Cannon Music composed by: Rob Simonsen Cinematography: Rodney Charters 1979 There was something vaguely familiar about this movie, but I thought to myself maybe it just had the same theme or something.  Later, I checked it out and found out it was based on a George Burns et al movie of 1979. Even if this was(is) a remake or a re-imagining or something, it became an entirely new movie that's act...

Whenever I can't be home on time or whatever, I go to this website to watch the replays:  http://www.pinoytvshows.org ENCANTADIA (2016) Image from PEP.PH #requel (Retelling and a sequel) ENCANTADIA PHOTOGRAPHS 2005/2016 ENCATADIA PAG-IBIG HANGGANG WAKAS (2006) ETHERIA This fantaseries jumpstarts my evening.  Even if it is a fantaseries, their problems about family and other relationships are real.  I love the costumes and the special effects.  There are a few "Why did that have to happen?", but most of the time, everything's just so exciting.  I know this is going to end soon.  I thought I wouldn't like this re-imagining of the series because I loved the original, but I am glad that I was wrong.  I have "separation anxiety" with this series(hehehehe) because it is going to break my weeknight habit. I am grateful that "they" brought back Hagorn, as played by one of my favorite actors, Mr. John Arcilla, before the series would bid ...

I only have Book 2 among the first three books. That book got us(my mom and I) hooked.   Of the last three books, I have all three All the books of ARCHIE:THE MARRIED LIFE that I own were bought at FULLY BOOKED #theproblemsarereal #slidingdoors #twoworlds #twoloves #twodestinies #changingworlds Like A LOT of the people of the world, I grew up with Archie and his gang, among others.  Even if my third given name is Veronica, I favored Betty, because for me, her heart is purer etc.  I still have some of our digests and comic books, but the rest were either given away or donated to public libraries.  Unfortunately, some were stolen...oh well. When we got hold of the second of these books, mom and I got hooked.  It was very interesting.  If we didn't have other things to do, we would read it the whole day together or alternately.  What we are today, besides the master plan of the Higher Power, is about the choices we make....

As their journey unfolds, the two women develop a strong bond which not only alters Harriet's legacy but also Anne's future.-WWW (source) Seyfried, MacLaine and Dixon The story is not entirely new and so is Ms MacLaine's character(is she typecast or something?), but I like the movie...well, maybe not everything, especially the cussing, but somehow I get why those expletives "had" to be uttered(Hmmm...am I warming up to someone or something???? Non sequitur). Both MacLaine and Seyfried produced this film, so they are on equal footing, but you cannot discount the vibrance of the child actor named Anne Jewel Lee Dixon.  S...
