A CHRISTMAS SNOW (2010)

warning: could contain spoilers, depending on what spoilers are for you
This is a wonderful movie with a sad theme, but somehow it still brings the true spirit of Christmas.

The actors are great, especially CAMERON TEN NAPEL who played Lucy like she's a pro.

She's not so active anymore as an actor, and probably because she's busy with school.  She's about to turn twenty, and so I hope after she's graduated from the university she may find her way back to acting again.  Her last project was when she was thirteen, as a child computer voice.

Even if it brings out the true spirit of Christmas the theme is not so Christmassy enough(because the central character is Grinch like or Scrooge like), but it does talk about the "100% true" Nativity Story plus a week later, Simeon's story of salvation.

It's nice to see ANTHONY TYLER QUINN here as the man who gave meaning to the central character's life.  He is also the dad of Lucy, a young girl who had to grow up quickly after her mom died.

MUSE WATSON plays Sam.  A "stranger" who helps our central character when she gets mugged.  I kind of guessed who he was, I just didn't think he was, well...no spoilers here.

I cried buckets of tears.  There are many touching scenes.

Towards the end you would wonder where the "other people" in their lives are, but somehow most of you wouldn't mind that.

My advice is that you don't watch it during Christmas.  Watch it any day of the year, but not during a holiday or something. Well, it's up to you.

If you're a sucker for a future stepmom and future stepchild themes, then maybe this is for you.

Oh, before I forget, the central character, Kathleen, played by CATHERINE MARY STEWART, pulled some heartstrings too.  She's a bitter person who wanted everyone, especially those good people who work for her, lose their Christmas spirit.

"The food's great, but..."

Anyways, that's it or else I might tell you the WHOLE story already.

The three main characters talk about the TV movie being a stage play
