RAK of Aegis 5.0 (not a review)

RAK's Final(/) run We left the City of Parañaque at 4:43 PM, Philippine Standard Time, but we arrived at the PETA Theater Center during the intermission.  At least, we were still able to watch the second act and the two friends who went straight to the Theater, because of the power of modern technology(Viber/Email), were let in because I sent photographs of the bar codes and we sent them the confirmation email of the tickets.  At least, two of us were able to enjoy the whole musical. Along the way, we were already losing hope and joked that we were just going to say our hi's and hellos like we were just fetching our two friends.  Thank goodness, we still were able to watch Tanya Manalang as Aileen(our prayers were answered), Lorenz Martinez as Kiel, his lovely wife, Shiela Valderrama-Martinez as Kapitana Mary Jane, Kakai Bautista as Mercy, Kiel's wife and Aileen's mother, Jerald Napoles as Tolits, and THE Jon Santos as Fernan. Ben Hur 2016 (Not a remake of the 1959 classic, but a re-imagining of Ben-Hur a Tale of the Christ)

Google images I believe the producers when they say that this is a re-imagining of the story and not a remake.  Their take is different and they were even able to improve many aspects of the story. The first parts of the movie was a bit dragging, but as the movie progressed, most especially when Judah Ben-Hur was arrested for sedition because of something Dismas the Zealot did, we felt every lash and other excruciating pains.  We also felt Messala's struggle and the music added to whatever emotion we were feeling that time. Who cares if this is a Lightworkers Media production?  It's beautifully made and I must say, it's even better than the original, except for the fact that Charlton Heston was a big star and had a great impact to society whereas Jack Huston, except for being showbiz royalty, is practically a nobody compared to the stellar power of Charton Heston. Even if I have seen Jack Huston act in other movies, I think this is his bi...

Poster for the Special Screening at the Vatican Official Website Facebook Page Reviews from the "experts": Review: 'Ignacio de Loyola' shows saint's humanity 'Ignacio de Loyola' review: Earnest and ambitious I studied the life of St. Ignatius of Loyola even when I was a Born Again Christian(I am still very much progressive, but I went back to the Roman Catholic Faith totally in 1990 through Opus Dei, but I started serving through the Holy Child Parish MOQ Choir at the Bonifacio Naval Station in 1988), but this is the first time I learned about what transpired before he met St. Francis Xavier and St. Peter Faber(Pierre Favre). I knew that like St. Francis of Assisi, he too was of noble background, but I didn't know the extent of his sacrifices, etc.  My Bestie said she liked it even if it was a bit "theatrical". She doesn't agree with me that Andreas M looks a bit like Colin Farrel(besides me,  other people n...
