The miraculous event happened January 15, 2009, almost eight years ago, but it seemed like everything just happened yesterday.  No.  I wasn't one of the 155 people who survived the crash, but almost everyone from all over the world was talking about this heroic man.

Not everyone was happy with his being treated by a hero.  Of course, the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) had to investigate and thankfully, it was proven that he and his Co-Pilot, Jeffrey Skiles, were just doing their jobs.  They did the right thing.

Whether you believe in Divine Providence or not, it was still very, very miraculous, because of the timing.  The Ferry Boat Captain noticing the plane, the NYPD Scuba Team, The Red Cross and others were able to save 150 passengers and 5 members of the crew, including Sully and his Co-Pilot, Jeffrey Skiles.

Tom Hanks, Aaron Eckhart, Laura Linney, Molly Hagan and the rest of the cast were very, very convincing.  Director Clint Eastwood deserves accolades, along with the rest of the crew.

The movie was fictionalized a bit for cinematic effect.  Just click the links below to learn more.
