These blog entries are MOSTLY just how I felt after watching the play, musical, concert or TV show, a product I like or things I have read. If I have not at least one good thing to say, then you wouldn't see anything written about it here. Oh, btw, I would seldom(not never) write about blockbusters even if I love them starting today(26 June 2019) just because. :-)

This is MY book by Cecelia Ahern. This is her first novel.
Inside the book you will find this quote

The film is dedicated to Sandra Windland "Wendy" Smith-Rice, sister of the movie's producer, Molly Smith. Windland Smith Rice died of Long QT Syndrome Type 2. The Mayo Clinic has opened the Windland Smith Rice Sudden Death Genomics Laboratory to study this and similar diseases. Info from Wikipedia.
To those who know me well, my Hollywood Crush is Gerard Butler. He's on top of my list among the big ones in Hollywood.
Of course, I wouldn't miss this for the world and I'm so glad that he and Hilary Swank jell.
If I were Holly and he was my Gerry, then I would have a hard time moving on too. Gerard played the part so well and I'm not just being biased. The moment he entered the travel agency I was tearing up already, but chuckled a little because... ;-) I couldn't have picked a better Gerry. Gerry is Gerard and Gerard is Gerry, which incidentally is what people close to him call him.
Did I imagine Holly to be Hilary? Honestly, no. Not in my wildest dreams did I think Hilary would play Holly, but you know what? She became Holly. The American Holly in a parallel universe.
Sometimes, as long as we don't dwell in it, we should look at the past, reminisce a little, but keep moving forward. We should open our doors to others and let them in our hearts. We must be wary, but not suspicious of everyone. Not all cars that stop and do not open their windows are stalkers even if you were already letting them move forward(not a part of a movie, but...). #keepmovingforward
Holly is very blessed because she is loved by friends and family. Grief is a very serious thing and not a laughing matter.
From Psych Central:
You should try and not judge how a person experiences their grief, as each person will experience it differently.
1. Denial & Isolation. The first reaction to learning about the terminal illness, loss, or death of a cherished loved one is to deny the reality of the situation. ...
2. Anger. ...
3. Bargaining. ...
4. Depression. ...
5. Acceptance.
Holly underwent those things. Thankfully number 5 happened and it's the how you need to find out.
I suggest that you read the book and watch the movie to appreciate it more.
Nellie McKay who plays Holly's sister, Ciara, is the one who sang this
One of the best onscreen kisses ever
The book and the movie have some differences, but most of the story is there. For cinematic purposes some situations and names were changed, but did not affect or destroy the beauty of the Ms. Ahern's original story. From Wikipedia: In A Conversation with Cecilia Ahern, a bonus feature on the DVD release of the film, the author of the original novel discusses the Americanization of her story — which was set in Ireland — for the screen and her satisfaction with the plot changes which screenwriter/director Richard LaGravenese had to make in order to fit the book into the screen.
The film was shot on locations in New York City and County Wicklow, Ireland.
Hilary Swank as Holly Reilly-Kennedy Gerard Butler as Gerry Kennedy Lisa Kudrow as Denise Hennessey Gina Gershon as Sharon McCarthy James Marsters as John McCarthy Harry Connick, Jr. as Daniel Connelly Jeffrey Dean Morgan as William Gallagher Nellie McKay as Ciara Reilly, Holly's sister Kathy Bates as Patricia Reilly, Holly and Ciara's mother Anne Kent as Rose Kennedy, Gerry's mother Brian McGrath as Martin Kennedy, Gerry's father Dean Winters as Tom

How do I describe this movie without giving spoilers? Hmm. Let me think. Ah, I think I know how. Directed by Gino M. Santos Written by Jeff Stelton and Keiko Aquino Loosely based on or inspired by the Wattpad sensation by youramnesiagirl of the same title, is a story of finding your self worth and about living. It's also about relationships not of the romantic kind and about responsibility. This movie is NOT all about sex. There's more to it than that . It also doesn't stereotype med reps and doctors. Things like these happen whatever profession or non-profession you are in, and even if there are people like that in real life, we must believe that there are more people who live life with integrity(listen to Carmi Martin's lines somewhere in the movie), so please don't be scared to watch this. This movie is about loving, losing, sacrificing, being selfless et cetera, et cetera . It's about many things, and sex is just a part
Barbie and Her "Kens" (A Dollywood Title) #TeamYuan #KenBie My bubble was burst when the last scene after the credits was shown. JEYA (Jai, Ethan, Yuan and Andoy) just woke up from a heavy night and they were wondering what happened then in big bold letters this was shown on the TV screen: Ano nga ba? SOON! Ngarks. I was already very happy that BARBIE (Forteza as Billie Bendiola) and KEN (Chan as Yuan Lee or Lee Yuan) ended up together. I even shouted it out via FB(viewed by Friends of Friends) then as I was enjoying the after credits scenes, the very last one was that messy pool scene. Everything was just a dream! Come on! I know it's fiction, but to play with our emotions like that? That is such BS. If I only knew that they'd do that, I would've finished Father Rio's send off party. :-p It's different when people wake up from a nightmare, but my goolai. Why did they have to make it a dream? If they want Barbie(at least h
Official Trailer When I heard Alice Dixson utter the classic infamous line, "Nandiyan ba ang asawa ko, na asawa mo, na asawa ng buong bayan?" in the trailer of WHEN THE LOVE HAS GONE, I said to myself, "Wait, I've heard that line before!" Or something to that effect. I was not wrong. Something similar to those lines were uttered by Laurice Guillen as Delza in NAGALIT ANG BUWAN SA HABA NG GABI (click to read the story written and directed by Danny L. Zialcita...Since the blogger doesn't know the name of the actor who played Antonio Almeda aka UP Boy, I'll tell you that his name is Tommy Alvarado)---more below Alice Dixson, Gabby Concepcion, Cristine Reyes, Andi Eigenmann and Jake Cuenca Source Except for the very long title(in terms of syllables), the movie this one was based on, is very beautiful. When Janice de Belen played the role of Jenny, I felt her pain...her agony. All of the members of cast f
