The Bucket List (2007)

A relatively poor mechanic (lower middle class) and trivia buff (wanted to be a history professor, but while in college, he got his girl pregnant...at least, all his kids are doing well because of his hard work) Carter Chambers (MORGAN FREEMAN) and Corporate billionaire (started working at 16, married four times, likes to be married, but the problem is, he wants to be single too) Edward Cole (JACK NICHOLSON) find themselves as roommates in a hospital owned by Cole. 

Never make a policy you can't abide by.

Both of them are terminally ill, but obviously, are very different in many ways. While inside their room they both find out that they do have some things in common. They didn't want to be wasted inside the hospital room. They want to spend every single second of their time left doing everything they ever dreamed of before they finally "kick the bucket” . Each one makes a list (Chambers made one first which made Cole curious) and thus the adventure begins.

The Bucket List is an endearing film bringing tears and joy (maybe tears of joy too) to the viewer. It's about true friendship and making the most out of your God-given life.
